United Utilities Customer Services

They can advise you on how to become more efficient with your water usage, and provide free products to help with this. United Utilities Paying Bills

If they are your supplier then United Utilities will bill you for your water consumption and wastewater removal from your property. If you prefer, you can manage your bills on their website with a United Utilities online account. There are many other ways to pay, from Direct Debits to in-person payments. Call 0844 453 0214 if you require some help reading your bill or making payments for it. They can arrange a payment plan with you if you struggle to pay.

United Utilities Water Meters

Customers with water meters will receive bills charging them for their actual water usage. United Utilities will take meter readings to calculate these bills accurately. They can do this remotely, but you can call 0843 557 3710 to submit readings if your bill is incorrect. Call to report any problems with your meter, such as leaks or failure to record your water usage properly. Or call for help with applying for a meter and arranging installation within 8 weeks.

United Utilities Moving House

You should sort out your new home’s water supply in advance if you are moving house. Call 0843 816 6829 to notify United Utilities about your move at least 28 days before the moving date. This applies whether you are moving within the region or completely new to their supply area. You should also inform them if you are moving away to an area which is supplied by a different utility company. They can transfer credit and collect meter readings.

United Utilities Priority Services

Some customers may require extra assistance with managing their utilities. This may be due to a language barrier, disability, old age, illness, or financial difficulties.
