Budget Energy Bill Payments

All Budget Energy customers, except Keypad Meter customers, will receive a quarterly bill. Some customers may sign up to pay by monthly Direct Debit, or choose another available payment option. Call 0844 257 4452 if you have a payment problem or would prefer to pay your energy bills in a different way instead. You can call to dispute a bill if you think that the charges are wrong. Or call to discuss a payment plan if you are having financial difficulties.

Budget Energy Meters and Readings

Budget Energy calculates your charges based on the unit price and the units of electricity you use. If they do not have an accurate reading from your energy meter, then they might have to estimate the charges instead. To provide an accurate meter reading, call 0844 257 4453 and get advice on how to read your energy meter properly. Customers with pre-payment meters won’t need to provide readings. However, you can call if your annual statement is incorrect.

Budget Energy Move or Switch

Call 0844 257 4454 if you are with another supplier and want to move to Budget Energy. You can also call if you are an existing customer and you decide to leave Budget Energy. Or call if you are moving out of the property and want to close this account, then open a new one at your new address instead. There is a cooling-off period of 10 working days for new domestic energy customers, so the registration process can take up to 3 weeks if you switch to them.
